SQUIRT Washer Data

                     Speed, flow and pressure can change volume left in wells

SQUIRT is very versatile: speed, air flow and air pressure is user changeable. The graph above shows data from a Falcon 384 well plate washed once with water at speed 4 and dried once at various speeds, flow and pressure. The plate was then weighed and the weight of the plate was converted to volume per well. The data shown are the means and standard deviations of 3 different trials.  Speeds of 1-5, low and medium flow and two different pressures were used. This ability to modify the three variables are important for cell washing.
